Currently Living at: Shelter. Mollie needs a foster, or better yet, forever home!

Oh, wow! Hi! I'm Mollie--a 12-month-old, 35-pound Beagle/Shepherd mix! I know I look a little serious in these photos, but honestly, that's just my face. I am SO EXCITED to be coming to the DC area soon to find my new forever home!

I'm only a year old, so I'm going to need LOTS of opportunities for exercise: long walks in the neighborhood, plenty of trips to the dog park to make new doggie friends and to run around off-leash, and maybe even a little wading in a pond or wading pool in the backyard sounds mighty fine! I can't wait to attend barbecues with you (and, uh, handle the cleanup or anything anyone happens to drop), and to bark at lightning bugs at dusk. On the other hand, after a great day, there's nothing I love more than a long nap in my very own cozy bed--or maybe on yours (hee-hee!)!

I don't know how I'll do with cats or kids yet, but we can certainly find that out when I arrive! Additionally, I sure would like to show you what a good, polite girl I can be--some obedience classes with you sounds like a lot of fun!

Like most shelter dogs, Mollie may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
