Has Lived With:  other dogs

Currently Living at: came from a SC shelter, Jose is now in a local D.C. foster home while waiting to find his forever family.

Special adoption considerations: because of his very tiny size a home with kids 16 and over would be best.

Hi there! My name is Joes and I am told that I'm a long haired Chihuahua?! I do have more hair then some of my Chi buddies. Hey, I am a wonderful little fellow! I have total Chi attitude and would love to come to your house to take care of you! I will take you on walks and play with you (do you like squeaky toys too?) You can even rename me. How about Fred or Boris or Fido or Dog? But most of all I will be your BFF and never allow you to feel too sad or lonely. I am a great listener too! Like most shelter dogs, Jose may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
