Jackie is just like her namesake, Jackie O, regal and refined. She’s been doing great with her two foster dog brothers, and has learned to ignore her foster sister cat. She can be a bit standoffish when first meeting folks, but once she decides you’re her human, she will shower you with kisses and snuggles. She also LOVES car rides, so if you’re looking for a tiny fellow road tripper, this is your girl!

This sweet lady is an 8-9 year old Jack Russell mix, weighing about 14 lbs. While she loves her rambunctious foster brothers, Jackie is also an independent woman who likes to do her own thing. When she’s not following her favorite humans around, she prefers to be happily snuggled up on the dog bed, or curled up next to you on the couch. 

Since she is past her puppy years, she doesn’t have all that crazy puppy energy! She does have a bladder issue that is managed with daily medication (the cost is only around $70 a year). This doesn't hold her back though - she loves to go for walks and sniff at all the exciting smells, and then come back and nap in the sun. Jackie is a great balance of inquisitive terrier and couch potato. Make this adorable lady a part of your family!

Like most shelter dogs, Jackie may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
