Approximate Weight: 43 lbs. 

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: A DC area foster home.  

Lucky is an 11 month old, 43 pound pointer mix who is in desperate need of a loving family. Lucky is absolutely ADORABLE with his unique pointer markings and full of personality! He would look great walking next to you through the city while you find an outdoor brunch spot, will surely stand out and get lots of attention at the dog park, will love to splash around in water and maybe play in the yard with the kids.

Lucky is just a youngster and full of antics so he will need a lot of exercise to keep him happy and healthy!  He gets along well with other dogs so he would fit in well with an existing pack, or could be an only child and soak up all the attention. He would also greatly benefit from obedience school where he can master the techniques of being a good boy! Whatever your lifestyle, Lucky just wants to be a part of it! 

Like most shelter dogs, Lucky may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
