Best Guess for Age: 4 years (as of 7/18/17)     SEX: Male

Approximate Weight: 75 pounds (as of 7/18/17)

Has Lived With: Other dogs and kids 

Currently Living at: DC foster 

Meet handsome Simbad!  Simbad is a four-year-old shepherd  mix hurricane survivor, weighing in at 75 lbs and he can't wait to meet you! 

Simbad, though out of the crazy puppy stages, will still need PLENTY of exercise and cannot wait to learn with you in DC!  He's dreaming of long walks and trips to the dog park in his future and would love to play with new toys, explore the neighborhood and even go to obedience classes to show off just how smart he is! He's counting down the minutes until he can meet your friends, go on trips, and cuddle up with you on the couch after a long day. As a shepherd, he will need plenty of mental stimulation daily, as well, to stay happy and healthy!

Simbad  is GREAT with other dogs, so he'd be a good addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. He has also lived with kids and does great with them as well! As a bonus...he's also good with cats! 

Like most shelter dogs, Simbad  may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
