Cinnamon, Spice and Everything Nice!

Come meetCinnamon and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (August 20) from 12-2 pm at the Bailey's Crossroads Petco (5825 Leesburg Pike, Baileys Crossroads, VA)!!!!!!

CINNAMON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Cinnamon   Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Mix

Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of 7/20/17    SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 40 lbs.

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: DC area foster home.

Special adoption considerations: Young dog that will need obedience training and plenty of daily exercise.

Cinnamon is a beautiful 7 month old Shepherd mix. She weighs about 40 lbs and, because of her age, is still growing. We don't know how this sweet girl ended up in a shelter but it hasn't dampened her spirits one bit and she can't wait to meet her forever family!

Cinnamon will need plenty of exercise and playtime each day to be a happy and healthy pup. She would love to go on daily long walks, hikes and regular trips to the dog park. After she's tuckered out, Cinnamon loves cuddling up for a nice nap and belly rub. She can't wait to go to obedience training with her new family so that she can bond with her people and become her very best self!

Cinnamon is good with other dogs AND kids so she'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. The nice folks at Lucky Dog don't know how Cinnamon is with cats but if you're interested, let us know and we can try to find out!

Foster Update: Cinnamon is doing great! We found she definitely likes kids and I still getting along great with our dogs and starting to learn the routine. We've started on basic obedience and that is going well. She is food motivate, which is a big plus.

Like most shelter dogs, Cinnamon may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Meg at megh@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
