Currently Living at: Scary Shelter!  King needs a foster or fur-ever home to come to in DC!

Announcing his royal pup-ness, King!  King is a doxie-mix that is approximately 2 years old, and fully grown at 13 lbs. He doesn't know how he ended up in a scary shelter, but needs a permanent throne (and home) to come to in DC!

Would you like a regal companion to take on long walks in your kingdom (err... neighborhood), have play dates at the dog park, show off his smarts in obedience school, and snuggle up with you for some Netflix after a long day at work?  King is a young dog that is past the crazy puppy stage, but still full of energy and fun! He is also the perfect size to be a travel companion for any jet-setters (please note, he prefers First Class). King would love to join a family that will treat him like the royalty he is!

King gets along great with other dogs.  We don't know about kitties or kiddies, but can find out if you have either!

Like most shelter dogs, King may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
