Come meet Doodles and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (July 30) from 12-2 pm at the Unleashed by Petco (5400 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22207)!!!!!!

Has Lived With:  other dogs

Currently Living at: SC. arriving in the DC area this coming Saturday (7/29) ADOPTION NOW PENDING!

Special adoption considerations: Doodles is a young puppy and like any baby, will require someone who is some most of the time to take care of her and train her etc. If you work full-time you would need to be able to have provable puppy daycare or a dog walker 2-3x a day.

Meet Doodles! Doodles is a beautiful Australian Shepard mix baby girl who is looking for a home to call her own. This bouncy baby girl is going to need someone who is around a LOT to take care of her. She loves to run and jump and bounce and play with balls and squeaky toys! Then she flops down for a puppy nap before starting all over again. Puppies take more time, more $ and more training.  But if you put the work, love (and fun) into training them you will be able to help her to grow into the best little girl ever! If you don't have the time, energy or inclination an slightly older dog might be a better choice. Note: She will need LOTS of long walks and doggie park visits when she is a little older.

Doodles is not old enough to have had all of her vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time.  Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, she is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.   

Due to her young age, Doodles has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 11/15/17. The rescue will require proof of completion..   

Like most puppies, Doodles will need to work on her housetraining. Doodles will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog!
