Greetings! My name is Beau and I'm a 35 pound, male, 2-year-old boxer mix looking for a home base of my very own. Some people think I look weird, but I think I look distinctive. I'm definitely not your run of the mill dog, that's for sure! I have a great, interesting look that makes me stand out from a crowd.

The people at the shelter say I have a quirky personality to match. I just love playing with other dogs, even though most are quite a bit taller than me. I make up for my lack of height with enthusiasm and spunk! I also like getting to know lots of people and just love pets from anyone! I'm definitely not shy.

I'm really hoping to go to a home with an active person or family who will take me on lots of long walks and trips to the dog park. I'd really love my own little bed, some neat toys, and maybe some yummy treats. I'll pay you back in slobbery kisses! I'm the best at slobbery kisses. Are you looking for someone out of the ordinary? Like most shelter dogs, Beau may need a refresher on house training.  He is likely crate trained.
