Special adoption considerations:  Kharma needs structure and a home with an experienced adopter(s).

Kharma here!  I'm a fun loving, sweet shepherd mix who is raring to find my forever home.  I'm young - 2 years old (give or take), so I'm out of the puppy phase but I'm still young enough to need TONS of exercise.  I am great with other dogs!  

Kharma is very smart and will do great with training and a structured environment.  She is young - and a shepherd - so she needs a lot of exercise and stimulation!  

Like most shelter dogs, Kharma may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

Kharma has tested positive and been treated for Heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites.  Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.

The adoption fee for this dog is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment.  If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Liz J. at Lizj@luckydoganimalrescue.org.
