Meet Keeler!! He is 10 years old and weighs 14 pounds. He is a super sweet, happy boy! This handsome senior boy cannot wait to find his forever family!!

My theme song is “Don’t Worry; Be Happy!” I came to DRSF emaciated and almost bald, but I’m back to a respectable wiener weight and my fur is growing back so that soon I will be a perfect illustration of the adage, “Blonds have more fun.” I’m happy to walk, happy to ride, happy to come back home, happy to hunt lizards, happy to mangle a squeaky toy, happy to eat, happy to receive belly rubs, happy to snuggle. I'm a quick learner; my foster mom has taught me to sit even though it is a challenge to remain still when I know a treat is on its way. I don’t need a crate; am well house trained as long as you keep me on a schedule; and I get along fine with other small dogs (although I don’t consider them playmates, per se). I am not a fan of big dogs when out on walks, though, so it’s best if we keep our distance when I’m out and about.
