Meet Hashtag! This handsome boy is a 3 year old Aussie mix, weighing in at approximately 30 pounds. Hashtag found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a forever family to give him the love and attention he deserves! Could it be  yours?

Hashtag is a high energy dog, so he’ll require a very active family that will provide him with plenty of exercise and playtime!  He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy.  He would love to go on long walks and hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with plenty of cuddles and kisses!

Foster report:   “He's super friendly with any dog he's met with us so far--big or small or alpha or not. We took him to a beer garden and a dog park and he loved running free and making new friends. He is good with little ones too, he had several toddler tots pulling on his hair and grabbing his nose and was as patient and gentle as can be. He has been very quiet, we haven't heard him bark at all! He's well behaved in the home (doesn't chew or get into stuff) and is happy to relax with you and cuddle up on the couch after he gets his zoomies out at the dog park or on his walks.”

Although Hashtag gets along well with other dogs, we haven't had a chance to see him interact with cats yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out!  Hashtag is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in his doggie manners and impress his new family.
