Beautiful Malala was found wandering the South Carolina streets all by herself, pregnant and alone.  Lucky Dog saw how sweet and loving she was, despite her situation, and knew they had to help her and her babies have a wonderful life from here on out.  Her babies have all been adopted and now it's Malala's turn to find a wonderful home.  Could this be yours?

Malala is an absolutely darling of a dog. She has the biggest smile on her face when she's allowed to put her two paws on you to give you a big hug. Her tail never stops wagging.  She would love to bring extra happiness into your home. Won't you consider adding this ray of sunshine to your life? 

Like most shelter dogs, Malala may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

Malala has tested positive and has been treated for Heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites.  Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.
