Currently Living at: DC boarding.  Daddy is ready to go to his forever home!

Meet Daddy, a super handsome and ALWAYS SMILING, 2 year old, male chihuahua mix that's coming all the way from Texas to find his new home! This handsome fellow is one of Lucky Dog's Hurricane Harvey pups looking for his family here in DC!

We don't know Daddy and his adorable underbite smile ended up in the scary shelter, but he is ready to come to DC to join your family! Are you looking for a little gentleman that is that is past the crazy puppy stage (your shoes will thank you!), but still full of fun? Can you see yourself strutting through your neighborhood with this handsome guy (all dressed up in his tuxedo) by your side, showing off his stuff at the dog park, showing off his smarts in obedience school, then relaxing on the couch with you after a long day (and not take up the whole thing)?  If you answered yes to these questions, Daddy may be the guy for you!

Like most shelter dogs, Daddy may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained. He gets along with other dogs and is great with kids. We haven’t had a chance to see how he interacts with  kitties, so if you have them just let us know, and we will do our best to find out!
