Hi everyone! My name is Trevor and I am a 10 - 12 month old, 40 pound Lab/Shepherd mix. I was told I am heading to the DC area very soon!

I like to think I am very sweet, and I really like playing with my other dog friends! I would love to learn about all of these great things I keep hearing about like long walks, hiking, fetch, trips to the dog park and great toys! I am really young so I have lots of energy! Hopefully we can play like that every day! Maybe after all that play time we can watch a movie and take a nap? I think that sounds like a great plan!

I gotta tell ya. This world is big and its a little scary. I've been through a lot so I'm a little nervous. I'm a really happy boy (which makes my tail wag - we have no control over those things - its crazy!) I love people, but I just don't really know what to do so I act a little shy and sometimes just flop over and pray for a belly rub and hope it will be okay. I am going to need a bit of help building my confidence, and I think I will learn that from socialization with other dogs and obedience school, so we gotta do that!  I want to experience being part of a family, and I promise to love you with all I can in return!        

Like most shelter dogs, Trevor may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
