BENJAMIN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Best Guess for Age: 12 weeks as of 9/7/17    SEX: male

Approximate Weight: 15 lbs as of 9/7/17

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: FOSTER HOME!

Special adoption considerations: Benjamin will need to be spayed by 12/1/17 and be given his rabies shot by 4 months as well as his 3rd and final puppy shot!

Benjamin and his sister, Barbee , found themselves in a high kill shelter in the pat of Hurricane Irma in South Carolina.  Talk about bad luck!  Well, it was bad until Lucky Dog found them and brought them to safety.  Now all we need is to find them a forever home!

Benjamin is slightly larger than his sister, but no less playful and curious. He crashes after playing really hard.  Then gets up and plays hard all over again.  He is going to be a very energetic boy!  He is pretty much a blank slate -- ready for any family to make him into a great dog with proper nutrition, exercise and training!

Benjamin is not old enough to have had all of his vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time.  Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, he is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.   

Due to his young age, Benjamin has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 12/1/17.   

Like most puppies, Benjamin will need to work on his housetraining. Benjamin will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!
