Special adoption considerations: Irma came to Lucky Dog on 9/9 as part of an emergency evacuation from Jacksonville, Florida in advance of Hurricane Irma's arrival.  We are so grateful to all of the wonderful donors and volunteers who made this transport possible!  

Irma is an INCREDIBLY sweet girl.  She does great on leash and loves to go on walks.  She also is great with other dogs.  She would really enjoy going to the dog park or going hiking.   She wouldn't mind accompanying you to Starbucks for a latte or to a nice patio for a happy hour!

Although Irma does not current live with kids, we suspect she would be good with them.  She is very gentle and not overly rambunctious.  We are not sure how she would do with cats, but we can try to test her if you have a kitty!

Foster Update: Irma has been great...rides in the car well...likes other dogs...very friendly...not scared of men...quick learner...we haven't heard her bark but she snores like a champ... doesn't mind the crate...more slobber than we are used to but not bad :) 

Like most shelter dogs, Irma may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
