Hola, Y'all! My name is Feliz, and I am a 7-month-old, 25 pound shepherd mix from Houston, and I just arrived in the DC area to find my new familia! I also can't wait for people to stop singing "Feliz Navidad" whenever they hear my name, because while it was sort of funny the first time, now I'm like, "Um... We haven't even gotten to Halloween, you guys. Really?"

I am a very young boy, so I'm likely going to need lots of exercise. Long walks, frequent trips to the dog park to make new doggie friends, and maybe even a little bit of running sounds like something I would enjoy very much! On the other hand, once I get plenty of exercise for the day, I am sure looking forward to crashing out on my very own new fluffy bed! That sounds like the life!

I'm not sure how I'll do around cats or kids, yet, but we can figure that out when I arrive in town. Additionally, I can't wait for you to sign me up for some obedience classes, so I can learn how to walk nicely on leash and all my commands and manners, as a good boy should.

Like most shelter dogs, Feliz may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
