Has Lived With:  other dogs

Currently Living at: shelter in Texas, Peanut will be arriving this Sat (23 rd) and would love a forever home to come to.

Special adoption considerations:  no kids under 15 due to size.

Introducing handsome Peanut! Peanut is a sweet little boy who found himself in a scary situation due to the hurricane in Texas. But don't worry he is now being saved and is coming up to the DC area to find his forever home. Peanut is hoping that his new home will include lots of tummy rubs, squeaky toys, a soft bed, walkies during the day and most of all someone who will love him for forever. If you think your home could use a sweet little boy like Peanut to bring smiles and love to, please contact the coordinator listed below (Sue), along with your completed adoption application. (link is also below). But please don't take too long, because Peanut is pretty excited to be safe again and coming home.

Like most shelter dogs, Peanut may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
