Hi, my name is Hope and I'm a 9 week old, female, 8 pound, shepherd mix looking for my very own forever home. My siblings and I are really grateful that the nice people at Lucky Dog are giving us the chance to go to DC and find our special person or people. We really, really don't like the shelter. It's cold and noisy and we get really nervous. We try to be brave and help each other, but it's really hard.

Do you think you have some space in your home for a little bed, some fun toys, and maybe some yummy treats? I wouldn't take up too much room, although the people at the shelter say I might get a little bit bigger. But I'll be very good, I promise. I wish I could go to obedience school so I could learn some real doggie manners. I would try so hard and I bet I could be the best in the class!

I love playing with other dogs, especially my brothers and sisters! I haven't met any cats or kids yet, but I'm willing to give it a try. I think I would really like to snuggle up on a couch for a nice nap. That sounds Hopely!

Hope is not old enough to have had all of her vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time.  Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, she is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Due to her young age, Hope has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 01/17/18.

Like most puppies, Hope will need to work on her house-training. Hope will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog!

The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Ali P at AliP@luckydoganimalrescue.org.
