Currently Living at: SHELTER. Sugar needs a foster or better yet forever home!

Meet Sugar!  Sugar is a gorgeous 8-10 month old shepherd mix weighing in at 30 lbs who cannot WAIT to meet you! 

Sugar is a young energetic girl who will require PLENTY of exercise and cannot wait to grow and learn with you in DC! She has no idea how she ended up in a scary shelter but she's dreaming of long walks and trips to the dog park in her future. She'd love to play with new toys, explore the neighborhood and even go to obedience classes to show off just how smart she is! She is counting down the minutes until she can meet your friends, go on trips, and cuddle up with you on the couch after a long day. 

Sugar is good with other dogs so she'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. We haven't had a chance to see her interact with kids or cats yet, but if you have them let us know and we're happy to find out for you.

Like most shelter dogs, Sugar may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
