Currently Living at: Scary shelter - Turtle needs a foster, or better yet, a forever home!

Meet Turtle! At around two years old, this little pup will need plenty of exercise to remain happy and healthy. She can't wait to go on long walks with her new human companion(s) and make frequent visits to the dog park. Once she's tuckered out, this little love bug can't wait to curl up for a nice nap and soak up plenty of belly rubs. She can't wait to enroll in obedience training to learn new tricks and commands to become her very best self!

Turtle is great with other dogs and is a happy girl. The nice folks at Lucky Dog don't know how she does with kids or cats yet, but if you're interested, let us know and we can find out.

Like most shelter dogs, Turtle may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

Turtle has tested positive and been treated for Heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites.  Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.

The adoption fee for this dog is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Hanan Saab at hanans@luckydoganimalrescue.org!

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.  That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament
