Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: DC area foster

Special adoption considerations: Young Puppy! Cannot be left on his own for more than 2-3 hours at a time. Applicants who work or are away from the home for 8+ hour days will need to provide PROOF of a multiple times a day dog walking commitment.

As Harry Truman said "You want a friend in Washington? Get a dog." Well low and behold I'M A DOG! And I can be your new best friend. Think of all the fun we'll have romping in the freshly fallen leaves and taking long walks in the crisp fall air.

I'd love to take trips to the dog park and make lots of canine buddies. And going to doggie school sounds absolutely wooftastic!  So whattya say...are you ready to meet your new best friend? 

Truman is not old enough to have had all of his vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time.  Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, he is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.   

Due to his young age, Truman has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 15 SEP 2018.   

Like most puppies, Truman will need to work on his housetraining. Truman will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!
