Special adoption considerations: Giant breed dog. Like most Great Danes Andromeda does not realize how large she is. Caution should be used around her with small kids who have never been around giant breed dogs before.

Howdy folks! Andromeda here and and as you can see from my photos I'm outta this world GORGEOUS! Sadly the breeder that dumped me at the kill shelter must have thought I'd lost some of my luster because now I find myself homeless.

The kind folks who rescued me think I'll probably need a little TLC. The breeder really didn't treat me very well and its likely I was just used to produce puppies.

Do you have a home and a heart big enough for a dog like me? I hope so! I look forward to seeing the pretty fall leaves and smelling the crisp fall air that the DC area has to offer. Can you provide me lots of walks, and trips to the dog park and most importantly patience and love?

I'll definitely need to get in some doggie obedience classes. I want to learn how to be a well mannered lady. You might even want to search out someone that specializes in giant breed dog training, we are a special bunch!

Whattya say friend can you put that sparkle back into my eye and give me a home full of love and understanding? Well get to filling out that app already...I'm waiting.

Like most shelter dogs, Andromeda may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
