Hi, my name is Scamper and I'm a 10 week old, male, 12 pound shepherd mix (as of 10/16/17), looking for my very own forever home. Right now I'm living at a scary shelter, but I am really grateful that the nice people at Lucky Dog are giving me the chance to go to DC and find my special person or people. I am fun-loving and cuddly and ready to learn and grow into a well behaved pup!

Do you think you have some space in your home for a little bed, some fun toys, and maybe some yummy treats? I wouldn't take up too much room, although the people at the shelter say I might get a little bigger. But I'll be very good, I promise. I wish I could go to obedience school so I could learn some real doggie manners. I would try so hard and I bet I could be the best in the class!

I love playing with other dogs! I haven't met any cats or kids yet, but I'm willing to give it a try. I think I would really like to snuggle up on a couch for a nice nap. That sounds heavenly!   Do you have some space in your home and your heart for a little boy like me? I hope so! I look forward to meeting you!

Like most puppies, Scamper will need to work on his housetraining. Scamper will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog! 

Scamper is not old enough to have had all of his vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time.  Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, he is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.   

Due to his young age, Scamper has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 2/1/18.
