Special Adoption Considerations: Saul would do best in a home without kids under 15 and without cats

Hi everyone! My name is Saul and I am a 1.5 year  old, 42 pound Labrador  mix. Saul found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a forever family to give him love and attention he deserves. Could it be yours? 

Saul is a lively and playful dog, so he’ll require an active family that can keep up with him and will provide him with PLENTY of exercise and playtime. He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy. As a young dog, Saul needs his exercise. He would love to go on long walks, hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with tons of kisses and cuddles! 

Saul gets along well with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack – or he'd be happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog! We haven't had a chance to see him interact with cats or kids yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out! Saul is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in his doggie manners and impress his new family.

Like most shelter dogs, Saul may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
