WILLIE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Meet Willie! This handsome boy is a 1-2 year old shepherd mix, weighing in at approximately 45 pounds. Willie found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a forever family to give him the love and attention he deserves! Could it be yours?

Willie is fun, goofy, and playful!  He's very athletic and agile, and in a brief test at the event, he made a great jogging companion!

With all that energy, he’ll require an active family that will provide him with plenty of exercise and playtime! He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy.  He would love to go on long walks and hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with plenty of cuddles and kisses!

Foster update  " He's the sweetest thing ever! He seems to be potty trained which is awesome :)"

Although Willie gets along well with other dogs, we haven't had a chance to see him interact with kids or cats yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out!  Willie is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in his doggie manners and impress his new family.

Like most shelter dogs, Willie may need a refresher on house-training. He is likely crate trained.  Willie hopes you will want to take him home with you!
