Look at my nose. Isn't it simply captivating? I know you want to "boop" it, but let me tell you a little about myself, first. So... howdy! My name's Moko, and I traveled to the DC area all the way from Houston, Texas, by way of San Antonio. Can you believe there are STILL dogs being moved around the country from Hurricane Harvey? It's true! And I was one of them!

I am a young boy, so you can expect I will need LOTS of exercise. Walks alone may not be enough! In addition to long walks several times a day, I'm looking forward to having the opportunity to run with you, and to go to dog parks a couple of times a week to burn off my fizz and maybe make some excellent doggo friends in the process! However, once I tire myself out? I can't wait to crash on my very own dog bed and take a nice, long nap. Ah! Bliss!

I'm not sure how I'll do with cats yet, but we can certainly figure that out if you have them! Additionally, I can't wait for you to sign me up for some obedience classes so I can learn all my commands and manners, and show you what a very good boy I can be.

From Moko's weekend foster:"Moko loves chew toys, walks, kids, snuggling with people, food, and being the center of attention. He knows how to sit, but mostly when it would be to his advantage. Moko gives kisses liberally, and seems to like having a fancy sweater to borrow while he’s staying with us. Right now, he seems to like humans better than dogs, but gets along with my two dogs pretty well all the same. I think he will be a great addition to any family with school age children or older, as he is strong and could easily knock a small child over. With proper obedience classes, however, I'm sure he would be great with smaller children as well."

So how about it? Are you ready for someone as devastatingly handsome as myself to join your family? Fill out and submit an application for me today!

Like most shelter dogs, Moko may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Liz K. at lizk@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
