Special Adoption Considerations:  Ariel will do best in a home with a second dog to help her build her confidence!  She also shouldn't be in a home with kids under 16, little kids might make her nervous!

Meet Ariel!  This lovely girl is a 3-year-old shepherd mix, weighing in at approximately 28 pounds.  Ariel found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own and is looking for a forever family to give her the love and attention she deserves! Could it be yours?

Although she’s out of the crazy puppy phase, and pretty mellow, she will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep her happy and healthy.  She would love to go on long walks and hikes, and take trips to the dog park so she can socialize with her canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, she’d love to shower her new forever family with plenty of cuddles and kisses!

Ariel is a bit timid and shy, so will need to come to a home with another dog so she builds her confidence and makes some friends!  Although Ariel gets along well with other dogs, we haven't had a chance to see her interact with cats yet. If you have one, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out!  Ariel is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in her doggie manners and impress her new family.

Like most shelter dogs, Ariel may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
