Snoopy is a 1-year-old, 35 pound beagle mix who is in desperate need of a loving family. Snoopy is a survivor of Hurricane Harvey and needs love, affection and care. 

Snoopy may not look like one of those glimmering dogs in Hollywood right now, but in time, he will be back to being the most handsome guy! He would love to join you on a weekend hike through the beautiful fall leaves, or maybe play in the yard with the kids. He will definitely want a soft place to rest his little head and cuddle with his new family. He gets along well with other dogs so he would fit in well with an existing pack, or could be an only child and soak up all the attention. 

Snoopy is a youngster who will need exercise and socialization to keep him happy and healthy. Once he is nice and tuckered out from all that action, he will surely love to curl up and enjoy quiet time! He would also greatly benefit from obedience school where he can master the techniques of being a good boy! Whatever your lifestyle, Snoopy just wants to be a part of it! 

Foster update: "Snoopy is a polite houseguest and quickly settles when left alone. He is thrilled to be with other dogs and people. Snoopy is learning to be gentle in human play but he understands corrections. Snoopy eyes are surrounded by a gorgeous Egyptian-Eye black border. One eye is colored oddly, with a blueish crescent rising into his dark iris, making him look cross-eyed. His vision does not seem to be impaired. His eyes express with great intelligence. Thank you for sharing this wonderful creature with us."

Like most shelter dogs, Snoopy may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
