Hello, my name is Carlitos. I'm a 25 pound, male, boxer mix and I'm patiently waiting for my chance at a forever home. I feel like I've been waiting for so long, but I'm willing to keep waiting until my forever family or person comes to get me. I won't give up hope.

I'm not sure how I ended up in the scary shelter, but I know I didn't like it. It's loud and noisy and there were lots of dogs a lot bigger than me. Sometimes they tried to boss me around and take my toys. Most of them were really nice though and some told me what a forever home is like.

They said that at a forever home you get your own toys and treats and you get to go on fun walks and maybe even puppy school or the dog park. It sounds like heaven to me! I can't wait to find my furever home.

Until that happens, I'm going to wait right here ... Hopefully I won't have to wait too much longer. Are you waiting for a special doggie like me? I hope so!

Carlitos is not old enough to have had all of his vaccines. It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, he is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom excursions, we do not adopt dogs under 5 months of age to homes where no one is home during the day. This means no 9-5ers, unless you commit to hiring a dog walker to come multiple times a day.

Like most puppies, Carlitos will need to work on his housetraining. He will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!

The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of transport from the shelter and routine vetting, vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting, please download our  Adoption Questionnaire  and email it to Kristen at kristenn@luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantee about age, breed, or temperament.
