Special adoption considerations:  Young puppy who will need LOTS of structure, exercise, frequent potty breaks, and socialization.

Hello humans, my name is Aramis-- a bundle of love and wiggles wrapped in a nice fluffy coat.  I am some kind of shepherd/spaniel/sheltie mix-- but I am not sure.  As you may have heard, my friends and I have been waiting to be evacuated from Puerto Rico for over 2 months and will be leaving on a jet plane to make our way to DC to find our forever families.  I hear it's cold there so first, I will need a good coat or sweater.   We are also looking for homes where we will be showered with love but will also have a routine so we will flourish.  I can't wait to find a home with some humans who will be able to take me out every 3 hours while I learn potty training and get crate trained, who will take me on long walks and trips to the dog park so I can make lots of friends.  I will also need to go to school so I can learn the basics and my new human(s) can learn how to make sure they raise me to be a good canine citizen.  I am also very interested in having my own bed and lots of toys of my very own.  And, in case it matters to you, I (generally) like cats.  My foster has one and we are getting along.

Like most puppies, Aramis will need to work on his housetraining. Aramis will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!

The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.  If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Megan at megan.luckydog@gmail.com!
