Meet Joel Monzon! This handsome happy boy is a 4 year old spaniel mix, weighing in at approximately 23 pounds. Joel found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a forever family to give him the love and attention he deserves! Could it be  yours?

Although he’s past his crazy puppy phase, Joel looks forward to an active family that will provide him with plenty of exercise and playtime!  He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy.  He would love to go on long walks and hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with plenty of cuddles and kisses!

Foster update:  Joel is adapting well to his new environment!  He loves to cuddle, gets along well with other dogs and people, and is great on the leash. 

Although Joel gets along well with other dogs, we haven't had a chance to see him interact with kids or cats yet.  If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out!  Joel is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in his doggie manners and impress his new family.  Like most shelter dogs, Joel may need a refresher on housetraining.  He is likely crate trained.
