Hi, my name is Shine and I'm a 8 week old, adorable Pointer Mix puppy looking for my very own forever home. My siblings and I are really grateful that the nice people at Lucky Dog are giving us the chance to go to DC and find our special person or people. We really, really don't like the shelter. We survived this HORRIBLE storm - people called it Hurricane Maria and it was really bad.  but now Lucky Dog has saved us and we are able to come to the mainland and find forever homes! 

Do you think you have some space in your home for a little bed, some fun toys, and maybe some yummy treats? I wouldn't take up too much room, and I'll be very good, I promise. I wish I could go to obedience school so I could learn some real doggie manners. I would try so hard and I bet I could be the best in the class!

I love playing with other dogs, especially my brothers and sisters! I haven't met any cats or kids yet, but I'm willing to give it a try. I think I would really like to snuggle up on a couch for a nice nap. That sounds heavenly!

Shine is not old enough to have had all vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time.  Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.   

Due to young age, Shine has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 04/15/18.   

Like most puppies, Shine will need to work on house-training and will also need to go to obedience school to grow into a well-socialized dog!
