Hello, my name is Carla. I'm a 13 pound, female, lab shepherd mix. I am patiently waiting for our chance at a forever home. I feel like I've been waiting for so long, but I'm willing to keep waiting until my forever family or person comes to get us. I won't give up hope.

They said that at a forever home you get your own toys and treats and you get to go on fun walks and maybe even puppy school or the dog park. It sounds like heaven to me! I can't wait to find my forever home.

Until that happens, I'm going to wait right here ... Hopefully I won't have to wait too much longer. Are you waiting for a special doggie like me? I hope so!

Carla is not old enough to have had all of her vaccines. It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, she is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom excursions, we do not adopt dogs under 5 months of age to homes where no one is home during the day. This means no 9-5ers, unless you commit to hiring a dog walker to come multiple times a day.

Like most puppies, Carla will need to work on her housetraining. She will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog!
