Approximate Weight: 20lb

Has Lived With:  other dogs and a cat

Currently Living at:  rural SC Skylaar will be arriving in the DC area soon looking for her forever home.

My name is Skylaar and I am a dog! I think I am a pretty nice dog too! If you would like a pretty nice dog to bring home you may want to pick me? I have a nice thick coat which you would no doubt love to brush? You will also probably want to have a bucket of chews and squeaky toys for me because that what pretty nice dogs like me really like, just sayin'.. (I have it on really good authority) Maybe you would like to take me for long walks? We could go meet all of your neighbors and their dogs and then maybe look for squirrels together? (yep, I know how to have a good time!) Oh and we may want to take classes together. I think I am OK but you might need a little help? Frankly it would be fun doing anything together, don't cha think? If you are looking for a nice dog like me then please let the coordinator (Sue) listed below by send a completed Adoption Questionnaire (link also below) explaining how much you would like a pretty good dog of your own.  ....hopefully me? I'll just be chewing on this bone while I'm waiting.... BTW, I am all good with wearing cutsy pink sweaters and stuff like that if you like? After all, I am a southern gal and can get a chill. (ummm not keen on bows on my head though)

Like most shelter dogs, Skylaar may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
