Handsome Boy Ready for a Forever Fam!

BATEMAN NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Bateman    Best Guess for Breed: Doberman Mix

Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of 12/1/17    SEX: male

Approximate Weight: 70 lbs.

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: SHELTER. Bateman needs a foster home, or even better yet, a forever home!

Bateman is a handsome 3 year old Doberman mix. He weighs about 70 lbs and, because of his age, may fill out a bit but is otherwise done growing. We don't know how this sweet boy ended up in a shelter but it hasn't dampened his spirits one bit and he can't wait to meet his forever family!

Bateman will need plenty of exercise and playtime each day to be a happy and healthy pup. He would love to go on daily long walks, hikes and regular trips to the dog park. After he's tuckered out, Bateman loves cuddling up for a nice nap and belly rub. He can't wait to go to obedience training with his new family so that he can bond with his people and become his very best self!

Bateman is good with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. The nice folks at Lucky Dog don't know how Bateman is with young kids or cats but if you're interested, let us know and we can try to find out!

Like most shelter dogs, Bateman may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.

Bateman has tested positive and been treated for for Heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites.  Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.

The adoption fee for this dog is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Meg at megh@luckydoganimalrescue.org!

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.  That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament
