Special adoption considerations:  Adalay likes to talk a lot, so we don't think she'll do well in an apartment or condo.  She also needs to work on her confidence a little, so will need to move to a home where there are other dogs!

Meet Adalay! This gorgeous girl is a 9 month old Shepherd mix, weighing in at approximately 28 pounds. Adalay found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own and is now looking for a forever family to give her the love and attention she deserves! Could it be yours?

Adalay has a playful, affectionate, and curious personality. She will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep her happy and healthy. An adopter who works full time would need to commit to having a midday dog walker for her during the week. Adalay would benefit from frequent trips to the dog park or even doggie daycare so she can socialize with her canine friends! And of course, upon returning home, she'd love to shower her new forever family with tons of kisses and cuddles!

Adalay is kind and loving toward everyone she meets! Although she loves people and gets along well with other dogs and kids, we haven't had a chance to see her interact with cats yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out! Adalay is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in her doggie manners and impress her new family.

Like most shelter dogs, Adalay may need a refresher on house-training. She is likely crate trained.
