Well, hi there! My name is Lenora, and I am a 5-6 month, 20-pound Retriever/Shepherd mix with possibly the most "boop"able nose you've ever seen! However, before you become too hypnotized by my icy blue-green eyes, I know you'll be delighted to hear that I'm coming to the DC area soon to meet my new furever family!! Could that be with you?

While I am not a tiny baby puppy anymore, I am still a very young girl and will need lots of patience and love to help me grow into a well-behaved and polite young lady! I can't wait for you to take me on lots of long walks everyday, on frequent trips to the dog park, and maybe even playdates with some of your friends and THEIR dogs. Because of my breed mix, you can expect I will have lots more energy as I grow and may even need to take up running with you! Wheeeee! But once you get me alllll tired out, I can't wait to curl up on my very own bed and take a nice nap in front of the fire or in a nice sunny spot! Ah! That sounds like bliss!

I'm not sure how I'll do around cats or kids yet, but we can find out when I get to town. In addition, I can't wait for you to sign me up for puppy kindergarten, so I can learn all my commands and manners and show you what a smart girl I can be!

Like most puppies, Lenora will need to work on her housetraining. Lenora will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog!
