Best Guess for Age: 1-2 years as of 1/22/18 SEX: male
Approximate Weight: 70 pounds
Has Lived With: other dogs
Currently Living at: Shelter. Cleveland needs a foster, or better yet forever home!
Well, hi there! I'm Cleveland, and I'm a 1-2 year old, 70 pound Labrador Retriever mix! As you can see, I'm the very goodest boy, and I know you already want to take me home straight away, but slow your roll, Hooman! Let me tell you a little about myself!
Now, you may be asking yourself how a good boy from South Carolina like me got a name like Cleveland. Am I a loyal fan of long-suffering sports teams? Do I enjoy splashing around in Lake Erie (well, actually, I probably would)? It's hard to say. I am a doggo, after all, and we aren't known for speaking our minds too often.
That said, there are some things you can reasonably assume about me: I am a big boy, and I am probably FULL of energy, as I am a young boy, too! I can't wait for you to take me on nice long walks, and maybe even train as your running partner! I love dogs, and therefore throwing in regular trips to the dog park every week sounds awesome! I can make some new dog friends, and you can make some new hooman friends! Win-win! But once you wear me out? I am happy to make myself comfortable on my own cozy bed, YOUR cozy bed, or maybe just the couch. I'm flexible like that.
A guy my size can't play around with being uncouth and untrained, so it is very necessary that you sign me up for obedience training right away so I can start learning all my commands and manners and show you what a good boy I can be! And while I'm not sure how I'll do with cats or kids yet, we can definitely figure that out when I arrive!
So, are you ready for a force of nature as big as a city to join your pack? Fill out and submit an application for me, today!
Like most shelter dogs, Cleveland may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
