Meet Gunner! This handsome and sweet guy is a 1.5 year old pointer mix, weighing in at approximately 40 pounds. He is HANDSOME with a beautiful coat and sweet green eyes! You can't help but want to hug him as soon as you see him! Gunner found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a forever family to give him the love and attention he deserves! Could it be yours?

Gunner is still very young so he will need a lot of both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy. An adopter who works full time would need to commit to having a midday dog walker or day care for him during the week. He would love to go on long walks, hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with tons of kisses and cuddles!

Gunner gets along great with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack, or would be happy soaking up all of the love and attention for himself! We haven't had a chance to see him interact with cats or kids yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out! Gunner is also looking forward to attending obedience school to work in his doggie manners and impress his new family. Training would also greatly help build his confidence! 

Gunner will make a GREAT companion and family member; you won’t regret opening your heart and home to this sweet boy!

Like most shelter dogs, Gunner may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
