What a happy girl!  Meet Libby a 3 year old shepherd mix.  Libby is looking for her forever home where she can get the TLC that she deserves.  She is good with other dogs. She is curious about cats and children but has never met any! 

Since she is still a young dog, she will need plenty of exercise.  Long walks or even runs will be needed and of course, she would love to make some new friends at the dog park.  Belly rubs after a long day will be a must too!  Libby would love to show off just how smart she is at doggie school too.

Is this pup the right match for your family?  She sure hopes so and promises a ton of doggie kisses and tail wags in return for some TLC.

Like most shelter dogs, Libby may need a refresher on house training. She is likely crate trained.

Libby has tested positive and treated for Heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites.  Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were Heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly Heartworm preventative.
