Special adoption considerations: he has a broken femur that fused odd so he walks funny sometimes and  he also has a bb in his back 

Hello I'm Brody ! I was in a scary shelter and I had no idea how I got there. But no worries, the good people of Lucky Dog selected me to come to the DC area to look for my forever family!

I am a playful, happy boy who loves everyone. I am looking forward to meeting my new humans and showing them my smarts by going to obedience classes.  The other dogs in the scary shelter have told me so many things about the outside world. I have been told about belly rubs, toys, and dog parks which all sound like so much fun. Can you be my new family so we can go on adventures? I am living with a great foster family and this is what my foster mama had to say about me:

"He's doing great moving around!  He runs up and down the steps, plays outside with the other dogs.  I call him peg-leg.  His one leg is stiff (the knee is seized up) but he uses it as a 4th appendage for balance.  It looks like they had considered amputating it, but I'm glad they didn't.  He really scoots around like a 3-legged dog with a built in crutch.  He is SOOOO sweet!  It's going to be hard to not adopt him!  He LOVES to lounge on the bed.  When we walk, he just calmly walks beside me.  He's really a great dog!  Loves the kids.  We gave him a bath, and his fur is soft and getting shiny from lots of petting".

Like most shelter dogs, Brody may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
