Meet Logan! This handsome and sweet boy is a 4 year old Terrier mix, weighing in at approximately 42 pounds. Logan found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a forever family to give him the love and attention he deserves! Could it be yours?

Logan is a lively and playful dog, so he’ll require an active family that can keep up with him and will provide him with PLENTY of exercise and playtime! He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy. An adopter who works full time would need to commit to having a midday dog walker for him during the week. Since he's so high energy, Logan will need running or playtime on a daily basis! He would love to go on long walks, hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with tons of kisses and cuddles!

Logan gets along well with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack -- or he'd be happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog! We haven't had a chance to see him interact with cats or kids yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out! Logan is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in his doggie manners and impress his new family.

Logan will make a great companion and family member; you won’t regret opening your heart and home to this sweet boy!

Foster Update:"I have not seen Logan meet a person or an animal that he did not like!  His behavior is amazing for a shelter dog in regards to housebreaking and leash handling.  He also does not whine or bark (unless he is trying to tell me something like "play with me now!".).  And then his bark is really funny.  He is doing well and very confident with his surroundings and current routine. He has shown zero aggression towards anyone or other animal.

He is very playful and will demand his playtime and focused attention of his human a few times a day (indoor or out) but is also content to snooze on the sofa or floor.  I have to crate him for up to 4 hours a day when I go to work and am luckily able to come home myself to walk him and give him a little food and water mid-day.  He does well in the crate but his energy just bottles up so that exercise and mainly play time is crucial even if it is at night or he will refuse to go to sleep."

Like most shelter dogs, Logan may need a refresher on house-training. He is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Meg at megh@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
