Meet Betty! This beautiful and sweet gal is an 8 month old shepherd mix, weighing in at approximately 22 pounds. Betty has a beautiful coat with unique markings - she is a real show stopper! Betty has had it tough surviving the streets of Thailand with a near miss of being sent out of the country to a dog meat market. Now that she is safe, she is looking for a forever family to give her the love and attention she so badly needs and deserves! Could it be yours?

Betty is still in her young puppy years, so she will need a lot of both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep her happy and healthy. An adopter who works full time would need to commit to having a midday dog walker or day care for her during the week. She would love to go on long walks, hikes, and take trips to the dog park so she can socialize with her canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, she'd love to shower her new forever family with tons of kisses and cuddles!

Betty gets along great with other dogs so she'd be a great addition to an existing pack, or would be happy soaking up all of the love and attention for herself! We haven't had a chance to see her interact with cats or kids yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out! Betty is also looking forward to attending obedience school to work on her doggie manners and impress her new family.

Betty will make a GREAT companion and family member; you won’t regret opening your heart and home to this sweet girl!

Like most shelter dogs, Betty may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Maddy at!
