Hello, my name is Cyrus. I'm a 52 pound, male, lab terrier mix and I'm patiently waiting for my chance at a forever home. I feel like I've been waiting for so long, but I'm willing to keep waiting until my forever family or person comes to get me. I won't give up hope.

I'm not sure how I ended up in this shelter, but I know I didn't like it as much as I would like my very own forever home. They said that at a forever home you get your own toys and treats and you get to go on fun walks and maybe even puppy school or the dog park. It sounds like heaven to me! I can't wait to find my forever home.

Until that happens, I'm going to wait right here ... Hopefully I won't have to wait too much longer. Are you waiting for a special doggie like me? I hope so!

FOSTER UPDATE: Cyrus is 52 lbs of pure love and is the sweetest guy!  Cyrus is very affectionate and when he's not snuggled next to me, he's cuddling next to my resident dog.  Although he's a couch potato at home, he loves to stay active by going for long walks!  He gets along well with other dogs, and is kid tested and mother approved!  He hasn't had any accidents in the house and does well in the crate!  If you're looking for a sweet dog to join you on adventures or "netflix and chill" with, then look no further and submit an application to adopt Cyrus today!  

Like most shelter dogs, Cyrus will need to work on his housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
