Zelig is an 8 year old male, 20 pounds.

Very happy and friendly boy.  Good with everyone and other dogs.  Loves to be with people.

"My foster family thinks I’m practically perfect in every way. I’m a super friendly, enthusiastic greeter--giving kisses and flopping over for belly rubs. When folks see my puppy-like face and my alert countenance, they think I’m a lot younger than I am. I only bark when I really feel the need (usually when I see dogs across the street), and I love to run. In fact, I’ll be happy to accompany you on your neighborhood jogs. My foster mom took me for a mile-long run this week, and I could have gone for more.  She is training me not to pull on the leash, and after just two lessons, I’m beginning to get the hang of it. I’m happy on laps, but I’m also content to sleep on the couch or in my bed. If you don’t want me on your furniture, you can let me know, and I will learn quickly. I know the sit, stay and lie-down commands, and I am impeccably house trained. I like food, but I’m not an aggressive eater. I’m not really into toys or squirrel/lizard hunting; just my people."
