Hi everyone! My name is Eddy and I am a 2.5 year old, 25 pound Beagle/Feist mix. Eddy found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a forever family to give him love and attention he deserves. Could it be yours? 

Eddy is past the puppy stage but he will still require an active family that can keep up with him and will provide him with PLENTY of exercise and playtime. He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy. He would love to go on long walks, hikes, and take trips to the dog park so he can socialize with his canine friends. And of course, upon returning home, he'd love to shower his new forever family with tons of kisses and cuddles!

Eddy gets along well with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack – or he'd be happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog!  We haven't had a chance to see him interact with cats or kids. If you have them, let us know, and we'll do our best to find out! Eddy is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in her doggie manners and impress her new family.

Update from a volunteer dog walker: " I had a great time walking   Eddy ! He is such a sweetheart, pretty good on a leash, and a very chill pup. He did super well when encountering other dogs and was a little shy around strangers but not aggressive or overly fearful. He also knew how to sit when there was a treat involved :). Wish I could take the little dude home!"

Like most shelter dogs, Eddy may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
