Meet everyone's favorite -  Rocky Road! This goofy, sweet boy is an 1 year old shepherd mix.  Rocky Road found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is looking for a forever family to give him the love and attention he deserves! 

Rocky Road  is a lively and playful dog, seen quite often in photos with his tongue out to give everyone a laugh. He'll require an active family that can keep up with his energy and will provide him with PLENTY of exercise and playtime. He will need both mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis to keep him happy and healthy. An adopter who works full time out of the home will need to commit to having a midday dog walker for  Rocky Road during the week. 

Rocky Road  loves long walks through the city or hikes in the country side, and will love to take trips to the dog park multiple times per week to keep up his great socialization skills!  Rocky Road is also looking forward to attending obedience school to hone in his doggie manners and impress his new family. 

We haven't had a chance to see  Rocky Road interact with young kids or cats yet. If you have them, let us know and we'll do our best to find out! Like most shelter dogs,  Rocky Road may need a refresher on housetraining.
