1/21/2020: Bizzy is really being such a good girl. She is doing well at waiting patiently on her rug for me to put the leash on her to go outside. She sits on the same rug and waits while I dish up her meals. She has a separate spot for chewing on chew bones (and the occasional toy). Bizzy keeps the bones on the rug so she doesn't slobber all over the furniture.

I don't kennel her during the workday anymore. She doesn't cause any trouble while she is left out. Bizzy is an over the top EXPERT snuggler, especially when it's colder out. She will sit in my lap for hours on end.

Bizzy garnered some national attention along with the rescue recently for being featured on beer cans at Fargo Brewing Company. She was all over the internet with thousands of shares. She was even featured on a segment on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. So you would be adopting a snuggling meatball of a star if you adopted Bizzy. #NBCNightlyNews

8/23/19: Bizzy has been loving summer! She is having an absolute blast going for long walks and runs. She loves getting pets from the people she meets. She is also really good at moving along if the interest isn't mutual. Bizzy has met many people telling her they want to adopt her, but she still remains without a true life companion, she wants someone or a family to spend her life with!!!!

Bizzy got to walk in the Pride Parade in downtown Fargo this fall; she had the time of her life getting all the attention she could possibly soak up! After a nice exercise, a big day at a parade, or at a 4 Luv of Dog adoption event, Bizzy loves nothing more than to curl up on your lap or in your arms and snooze. She dreams of your home!!!!

5/27/19: Bizzy is doing super well in my apartment! She is able to spend a few hours alone without being kenneled. She still needs to stay in her kennel when I am gone for too long, but her behavior is pretty good! Bizzy still stays in her kennel like a champion while I am at work. The neighbors say she doesn't bark at all during the day. I let her look out my patio window all day long too. Her behavior, while I am home, is generally good as well; she just needs to exercise every day.

Bizzy has been doing really well with her manners. She will lay on her bed while I eat in the kitchen. She is learning to control her excitement when I take the leash out and stay seated by the door. She is very good seeing and going by dogs and people on walks. Bizzy is generally pretty good on her leash to the point that I can take her on skateboard rides with me. Cats and rabbits fleeing can get her a little amped up still, but it's easily managed.

Bizzy still hasn't had any accidents in my apartment. She sleeps into the night and most of the morning if she has the time, and she still loves to snuggle!

Please consider this sweet girl as one of your own!

3/16/19:   Bizzy checking in here. My foster parent left the computer email open so I figured I would tell you about my life!

Weekdays get to be a little boring, I spend most of the daytime hours during the week in my crate. I have been so good, I wonder if I need to be crated? I hear it's for my own safety, I guess. It's ok, I am super quiet. I pass the time by doing push-ups (it's how I stay super buff) and gnawing on my bone. I always get something tasty too in my crate, breakfast, dinner, or just a treat. Yum, yum! I LUV KIBBLE! I don't really like waking up early, and if my temporary human awakes to early I will take the spot on the bed and keep it warm, until going outside is offered. Honestly, I would take 12 hours of beauty rest a night if I could. But I guess the human has to go somewhere.

I have spent my whole life bouncing around from homes to the shelter. All the humans have told me that I am super sweet, and I do love meeting new people. The problem is I don't like sharing my home with any other dogs. My human calls me a "one-der"...ya I know I am Wonderful. My human doesn't want to keep me forever because my forever home is out there and the human wants to be able to help other dogs find their forever homes too. I will still cuddle and snuggle and be as sweet as I can be, looking for my forever home. Help us find my forever home, please?
Thanks for reading, wooof!

2/18/19: Bizzy is doing really well; she has been a good dog here. She still stays in her kennel while I am away as she will take the liberty of chewing up anything soft or anything she might think is fun. She won't really do it while I am around as she gets toys (that don't last long) when she isn't crated and she is getting rewarded for nicely laying on blankets, so maybe we can call it a stage of her life? You will have to let me know.

Bizzy is super treat-motivated. She will basically do anything for a single piece of her regular kibble. She would probably like to get bonkers and run around for a treat, but Bizzy also doesn't mind showing off her variety of tricks or even laying and patiently waiting in her kennel with the gate open. She is super smart. After a little exercise every day she likes to snuggle up on the couch and watch TV. Bizzy can be a serious cuddle bug.

Bizzy can't have any other pets living with her, but she does just fine coming across other dogs out on walks. I hope we can find a great home for her real soon, so I can take in another foster dog! Plus Bizzy really wants a backyard to play!

1/27/19: I have had Bizzy for about two weeks now. She was super scared and not having very much fun at the shelter. She is doing so much better in my home. Bizzy kennels really well and she hasn't had any potty accidents. She needs and loves some play-time every day but also ready for a big snuggle session after a game of fetch. Bizzy would love a big fenced yard to run around in and a nice comfy couch and lap to lay on afterward! Be Bizzy's hero!

10/22/18: Bizzy has come a long way! I am so proud of her!  Her barking only consists of when someone knocks on the door or she has a toy in her mouth and wants you to play with her. She has been super friendly and shown no hesitation when meeting new people. Bizzy absolutely loves to cuddle! She will snooze with you all day if you let her. She is also an excellent leg warmer at night in bed. Bizzy knows sit, down, shake and stay (though actually staying we are still working on).  She has to sit before she can eat her food, and she has to sit before she goes outside and before she can come back in. She is pretty solid and throws her body around being goofy. Bizzy LOVES being outside. A home with a fenced-in yard would be perfect. She just has a lot of energy as she is still young. We are still learning how to walk on a leash; that will take some time. Bizzy would do best as an only dog as she is an attention queen and needs to be the center of her families lives. Whoever adds this absolute sweet pea to their human family will be one lucky person!

7/17/18: We continue to enjoy Bizzy’s fun-loving personality and big goofy smile. After getting to know her a little better, we have discovered that she seems to be more shy and cautious around new men. She seems interested in meeting new people but she wants to take her time to make sure they are safe. She has met several of our family members, friends, and neighbors and she has warmed up to them and seems comfortable. Giving Bizzy treats definitely helps win her over! We continue to work on having slow introductions to new men with lots of positive reinforcement. We have discovered that she does not do well in an apartment setting because of all the new people she may encounter in the hallways and it can be a little overwhelming for her.

Bizzy has been doing well learning to walk nicely on a leash but she is very strong and gets overly excited if she sees another dog or animal. She’s a social butterfly and just wants to play! She also gets excited when it’s time to get out of her crate or when it’s time to eat. Bizzy is learning that it's polite to sit and wait and not jump up on people. We continue to work on fine-tuning her basic manners and Bizzy is a great student since she is very food motivated and also eager to please!

6/24/18: We have only had Bizzy in our home for 3 days and so far she has been a great house guest! We've found that she will usually bark & growl when she first meets someone new but she warms up quickly, especially if you give her treats!

Bizzy had settled right into our family. Bizzy hasn't had any accidents in our home and she is kennel trained. She is always very happy to see us when we come home and her whole body shakes with excitement. Some of her favorite hobbies seem to be playing fetch and chewing bones.

Bizzy is a sweet and playful girl! Once she gets to know you, she will be the perfect sidekick!
